Who you are actually signing with
Axi runs four websites and four companies, and each legal page names its own:
- International: AxiTrader LLC, incorporated in St Vincent and the Grenadines (number 4303 LLC 2025) and "registered by the Financial Services Authority" there. The page adds that AxiTrader LLC "is a member of The Financial Commission". Read that plainly: "registered" is the page's own word, no licence number is given, and The Financial Commission is a dispute resolution body brokers join, not a regulator.
- UK: Axi Financial Services (UK) Limited, authorised and regulated by the FCA, firm reference 466201.
- Australia and New Zealand: AxiCorp Financial Services Pty Ltd, AFSL 318232 and NZ FSP 518226, with negative balance protection stated for retail clients.
- EU: the EU legal page redirects to axi-solaris.com, operated by Solaris EMEA Ltd, CySEC licence 433/23.
The international and UK pages do not mention negative balance protection or US residents. Axi dates itself from 2007 in Sydney.
The accounts, as published
International site, 21 Oct 2026:
| Account | Minimum deposit | Spread from | Commission | Platforms named |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $100 recommended | EUR/USD 0.68 pips, gold 16 cents | none | MT4, MT5, Axi Trading Platform |
| Premium | $100 recommended | EUR/USD 0 pips, gold 9 cents | $4.50 round trip per standard lot | MT4, MT5, Axi Trading Platform |
| Elite | $25,000 recommended | EUR/USD 0 pips, gold 9 cents | $3.50 round trip per standard lot | MT4, MT5, Axi Trading Platform |
All three list leverage up to 1000:1. Standard can be held in eleven currencies including GBP and EUR; Elite in four.
For a signal follower the choice is Standard or Premium, and the arithmetic favours Premium. EUR/USD moves $10 a pip per standard lot, so $4.50 round trip is 0.45 pips. Standard starts at 0.68, so Premium's live spread would need to exceed about 0.23 pips before Standard caught up, and it is published from zero. On gold the product schedule applies the $4.50 to bullion as well; spread over a 100 ounce lot that is 4.5 cents an ounce, so Premium gold costs about 13.5 cents against Standard's 16 at the stated minimums. The schedule says current pricing is on the platform, so confirm these on a demo. Our guide to position sizing from a signal turns per-lot cost into money at your size.
Two fees sit in the product schedule rather than on the accounts page. After 12 months of inactivity Axi charges USD 10 a month on USD accounts. Withdrawals are free only above US$50 or for the full balance; below that an administration fee of US$25 may apply.
Gold, MT4 and MT5
The MT4/MT5 product schedule lists XAUUSD at a contract size of 100 ounces, 0.01 to 20 lots and maximum leverage of 1000:1, open Monday 01:01 to Friday 23:58 server time with a daily break from 23:59 to 01:01. The XAUUSD row carries MT4 server hours and the cent variant MT5 server hours, so gold is live on both platforms, which is what our copier needs. Three variants sit alongside it, XAUUSD.c with a contract size of 1, XAUUSD.min at 10 ounces and XAUUSD-PERP, which a copier set to XAUUSD will not touch.
Axi's higher margin policy caps metals at 200:1 during news releases and the daily break, and at 100:1 to 50:1 around market closures and weekends, and the commodities page says the 1000:1 figure depends on your region. A trader at 1% risk a trade never meets those caps.
On a demo, check the night spread between 22:00 and 01:00 UK time and the swap, neither of which the schedule prints.
Swap-free
Swap-free is a separate account option: $100 recommended, leverage up to 1000:1, Standard's spreads (EUR/USD from 0.68 pips) and no commission. The fees page says the overnight charge on it "is not interest-based but is a fixed charge" and gives no amount. Ask for the figure on gold if you hold trades over several nights; our piece on swap on gold explains what to compare it against.
Funding and withdrawals
The European payments page on the international site lists cards from USD 5 to 100,000, PayPal from USD 10 to 10,000, international bank transfer from USD 10 to 1,000,000 in one to three days, Przelewy24 in PLN, and crypto from USD 30 to 250,000 within about 15 minutes. All are free on Axi's side, which processes them instantly and says funds can take one to seven business days to show. A card issuer may treat a deposit as a cash advance.
Copy trading
Axi Copy Trading is an app for iOS and Android: connect an MT4 or MT5 account and select traders to follow. Fees and minimum deposit are not stated. The difference from following a Telegram channel with a copier is who decides: in the app the trader you follow sets everything, while a channel posts entry, stop and targets in advance and the copier places them with your own lot size and stop.
What Axi does not publish
Gold spreads in the product schedule; the swap-free fixed charge; copy trading fees; US residents; negative balance protection outside Australia and New Zealand; a head office. Gaps rather than red flags.
Who Axi suits, from the terms alone
- A trader who wants gold pricing published in cents and a $4.50 round trip account from $100.
- A member who holds the account in GBP, EUR or another of Standard's eleven currencies.
- A UK, EU or Australian client who wants a regulated entity named on its own site.
Who it suits less: an international client who wants a licensed regulator rather than a registration plus Financial Commission membership; anyone who withdraws under $50 at a time; and anyone whose account would sit idle for a year.
