What Funding Pips sells
Five models: "1 Step Flex, 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro, and Zero", across $5K to $200K; "Not every size is offered on every model". The home page states "A 100k account costs $529" beside 8% and 5% targets, 5% daily loss, 10% maximum loss and 3 minimum days, which matches the 2 Step Standard. A code HELLO gives 20% off a first purchase and "excludes $100K accounts".
The objectives, as published
| Model | Targets | Daily loss | Max loss and type | Min days | Time limit | Consistency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2 Step Standard | 8% then 5% | 3% or 5% by configuration | 10%, static | 3 per phase (none with the 3% add-on) | none; one trade every 30 days | none |
| 2 Step Pro | 6% then 6% | 3% | 6%, static | 0 (accounts from 26 Aug 2026) | not stated | none stated |
| 1 Step Flex | 12% | 2% or 3% | 12% of starting size | none | not stated | none stated |
| Zero (instant) | none | 3% | 5%, trailing on highest equity | 7 profitable days per rolling 30 | not stated | not stated |
The 2 Step Standard article describes the maximum loss as 10% of the starting size that "never moves", applied to equity or balance including floating losses. The daily loss is "based on the higher of the day's opening balance or equity", reset at 00:00 UTC+3. Zero's limit "Trails the highest recorded equity" and locks at the initial size once 5% in profit.
The copying rule
The conduct page states: "Copy trading between different users' accounts is strictly prohibited." Copying between your own FundingPips accounts is allowed, as is using a FundingPips account as master to an external one ("Always use the investor password"). Inbound copying "from any source", signal providers included, is third-party account management and "will result in account termination".
That is as clear as it gets. A Telegram-to-MT5 copier fed by a channel is inbound copying from a source that is not you, and it ends the account. Placing a signal by hand on your own account is not addressed by the cited rules either way, and absence of a named ban is not permission; if you intend to trade signals here, get the firm's written answer to that exact workflow first. Third-party EAs are "permitted only as a trade or risk manager"; full automation needs your own EA with proof of ownership. Our copier and prop firm rules piece covers why we exclude prop accounts from our own copier terms.
News, on evaluation and on funded
In evaluation on the Flex, Standard and Pro models, "There are no restrictions on holding trades during news events". On the funded Master account, a trade opened or closed from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after high-impact news may have its profit deducted, a soft breach; trades opened "5 hours or more" before are excluded. Deliberately trading the news "will lead to account closure" in either phase. On Zero the Master rule is "NOT ALLOWED" within 10 minutes before or after, a hard breach.
A gold signal that reaches its target during US data is the case to think about. Opened five hours or more earlier, the article excludes it; opened inside the afternoon with the take-profit filling inside the window, the profit can be deducted. The safe pattern is to touch nothing for the ten minutes; our sessions and news guide lists the releases.
Weekend holding is allowed in evaluation and "not allowed" on the Master account unless the Swing add-on is bought, with an auto-close from 20:45 UTC in summer and 21:45 UTC in winter. Zero positions must be closed before the weekend.
Drawdown and daily loss, in stops
With the 5% daily configuration, 1% a trade gives five stops in a day; with the 3% configuration, three. The static 10% maximum is ten stops from the start and never moves; the Pro's 6% is six. Zero's 5% trails equity, so a strong week followed by a losing one leaves fewer stops than the headline suggests. Sizing from the daily limit is in our risk per trade guide.
Gold, platforms and leverage
Platforms are MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match-Trader. XAUUSD is one of 41 instruments, commission is "$5/lot" on forex and metals, and the maximum is "20 lots per click/trade". Leverage on the Standard, Flex and Pro models is 1:100 forex and 1:30 metals on the Standard type, 1:30 and 1:10 on Swing and Swap-Free. Master accounts use temporary dynamic leverage on metals, from 1:50 on the first 0.05 lots down to 1:5 at 0.50 lots and above. Zero is 1:50 forex and 1:10 metals.
Payouts, split and refund
The 2 Step Standard article lists Weekly at 60% (first request 7 days after the first Master trade), Bi-Weekly at 80% (every 14 calendar days) and On Demand at 100%, the last needing a best day under 35% of profit and 7 profitable days of 0.5%. The home page differs: "Tuesday payout: 60%, Bi-weekly: 80%, On demand: 90%, Monthly: 100%". Requests are "processed within 1-3 working days". The fee refund "Applies only on 2 Step Standard", at the fourth reward; otherwise fees "are non-refundable once paid".
Broker, entity, countries
"The Company does not act as a broker, custodian, or financial intermediary." The entity is FundingPips Corp, Comoros Union, company HY01223081, holding an "International Brokerage and Clearing House License (License No. Bfx2024004)"; the home page says "Made in Dubai". Iran, Vietnam, the UAE and sanctions-list countries are not served.
What Funding Pips does not publish
Time limits for Pro, Flex and Zero, a consistency rule on the non-Standard models, a liquidity provider, and one payout table, since the help centre and the home page disagree.
Who it suits, from the rules alone
A manual signal trader who wants a printed price, static drawdown, a 5% daily option and stated gold leverage, and who can leave trades alone for ten minutes around US data. It suits less anyone who holds gold over the weekend without paying for Swing, and anyone who thought a copier of any sort would be tolerated.
Rules were read on 21 Oct 2026 and change often. Read the help article first.
