Disclosure first. Vantage pays Forexero for accounts opened through our partner route and for their trading activity. That payment is what funds Sponsored VIP: a member who opens a Vantage account through us, deposits at least $500 and places ten trades gets our paid service without paying us. So we have a reason to want you at Vantage. Read what follows with that in mind, and check the figures on Vantage's own pages before you act on any of them.
Who you are actually signing with
"Vantage" is several companies, and which one you contract with depends on where you live. From the legal pages:
- UK: Vantage Global Prime LLP, authorised and regulated by the FCA, FRN 590299, through vantagemarkets.co.uk.
- Australia: Vantage Global Prime Pty Ltd, AFSL 428901, through the Australian site, which states it is for Australian residents only.
- South Africa: Vantage Markets (Pty) Ltd, FSCA licence 51268.
- Everyone else: the international site says account sign-ups are with Vantage Global Limited, regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (registration 700271), with VIG Group (FSC Mauritius licence GB20026165) as the trading name's holder. The same site states that its operating entities are not regulated by the UK FCA and that negative balance protection is not guaranteed.
That last line matters. A UK or Australian client sits under a regulator that caps leverage and, in the UK, guarantees you cannot lose more than your deposit. An international client gets 1:1000 leverage on gold and a client agreement that does carry a negative balance protection clause, but a front page that says the protection is not guaranteed. Neither is better for everyone. Risk per trade does not set your margin requirement; the position's notional size, the broker's margin rate and the leverage cap do, so a small account holding 0.01 lots of gold at 20:1 ties up more of its balance in margin than the same position at 1:500, while a larger account at 1% risk may never notice the cap. Know which entity you are opening with before you compare Vantage with anyone.
No EU entity is named anywhere on the pages we read, and Vantage lists the United States, Canada, India, China, Hong Kong and Singapore among the places it does not serve.
The accounts, as published
International site, 21 Oct 2026:
| Account | Minimum deposit | Spread from | Commission | Platforms named |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard STP | $50 | 1.0 to 1.1 pips | $0 | MT4, MT5, Vantage app |
| Raw ECN | $50 ("minimum recommended") | 0.0 pips | $3.00 a lot a side ($6 round turn) | MT4, MT5, apps |
| Pro ECN | $10,000 | 0.0 pips | $1.50 a lot a side | MT4, MT5, app |
| Cent | $50 (one FAQ says $1) | 0.0 pips | not stated | PC and mobile; MT4/MT5 not named in the account text |
The UK site lists different pricing: Raw ECN from $1.00 a side, STP at 1.1 pips, and a Premium account at $25,000 from $0.75 a side.
For a signal follower the choice is between the first two. The arithmetic is the same at every broker: a round-turn commission of $6 a lot equals 0.6 pips on EUR/USD, so Raw ECN is cheaper only when its live spread is more than 0.6 pips tighter than Standard's. Vantage publishes no typical spreads we could read, so whether that holds at the hours you trade is a demo question, not a page question. On a 0.01-lot trade the difference is cents either way; on gold at 0.1 lots and above it is real money by the end of a month. Vantage's own gold page lists Raw ECN gold at a minimum of 1.0 and an average of 2 in its spread table, without stating the units, and shows "from 0.0" in the headline; we could not read a Standard gold spread from the page at all. Treat the headline number as marketing and the table as the thing to check live on a demo.
Margin call is 50% and stop out 20% on all three main accounts, which is more room before a forced close than the 50% stop-out some brokers use. Base currencies include GBP and EUR, so a UK or European member need not hold the account in dollars.
Gold, MT4 and MT5
This is the question we get most, because the copier and the signals both run on MetaTrader. Vantage states plainly that gold is available through MT4, MT5, TradingView, its web platform and its app. Raw ECN is described as an MT4 ECN account with MT5 also listed; Standard STP names both. No instrument is stated as MT5 only. So a member on either platform can follow our gold signals or run the copier on them. The gold page states 0.01 as the minimum lot and leverage "up to 1:1000" with the usual note that it varies by entity.
What the pages do not tell you, and what you should check on a demo before going live: the symbol name (XAUUSD at most Vantage entities, but suffixes exist), the spread between 22:00 and 01:00 UK time when our gold signals are least likely but a running trade is still open, and the swap. Our guide to why gold spreads widen at night explains why that hour matters more than the headline figure.
Swap-free
Available on Standard STP and Raw ECN. Overnight swaps are replaced by an administration fee whose amount is not published on the page, so ask support for the fee schedule before you open the account if you hold gold overnight. The same page states a 0.01 minimum lot in the body and a 0.1 lot figure in a stats box; we would trust the body text but confirm it.
Funding and withdrawals
Deposits: cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay (instant, $0), PayPal (within 24 business hours, $0), Neteller and Skrill (subject to those wallets' fees), a long list of local bank transfers for Asia, Africa and Latin America, and international wire at 2 to 5 business days. The policy page caps deposits at $10,000 in base currency units per deposit, except in HKD and JPY. Vantage states it charges no withdrawal fee; international wires cost about $20 at the banks, and withdrawals go back to the method the money came from, with card deposits refunded to the card for 12 weeks. One clause to know: if you withdraw with little or no trading, Vantage may charge the merchant fees it covered plus a handling fee. That clause exists to stop people using a broker as a free currency exchange; it is not aimed at traders, but read it.
Copy trading
Vantage has its own copy platform in its app and client portal, with MT4 and MT5 accounts linkable to a strategy and a claimed 70,000-plus signal providers. It is a different product from following a Telegram channel: the strategy provider trades and you mirror, with whatever reasoning the provider chooses to share. If you want to copy a channel's signals to your Vantage MT4 or MT5 account with your own lot size and stop rules, that is what our copier does, on a supported MT4 or MT5 account, Vantage included.
What Vantage does not publish
In fairness to the reader and to Vantage: the year founded is not stated on the pages we read (the sites say "over 15 years" and "over 12 years" of experience on different pages); no EUR/USD typical spread is printed anywhere we could read because the live tables render only in a browser; the UK site states no maximum leverage; and the swap-free admin fee has no figure. None of these are red flags, they are gaps in what we could read, and a demo account and a support question close most of them.
Who Vantage suits, from the terms alone
- A UK trader who wants FCA cover and MT5 with gold, and does not need leverage above the retail cap.
- An international trader who wants a $50 start, 0.01 lots on gold, and ECN pricing at $6 round turn.
- A member on our Sponsored VIP, where the $500 minimum and ten trades replace the £89 subscription. The maths on that trade-off is on the plans page.
Who it suits less: anyone in the US or Canada, which Vantage lists as not served; EU residents should ask Vantage which entity, if any, can contract them, since none is named on the pages we read; and anyone who needs negative balance protection guaranteed in writing on the international site, which it is not.
Figures were read from Vantage's pages on 21 Oct 2026 and will change. The Sponsored VIP qualification is Vantage's and ours as of the same date; we confirm the current conditions with each member before they deposit.
