How signals work

What a real month of signals looks like: 79 replayed, 3 stops, and where the pips came from

Recaps are where signal records go wrong, so this is not one. It is the month as the replay engine scored it from our own channel messages, with the per-signal file published, and the numbers a member would need to decide whether it was good.

The counts

Thirty days, 24 August to 21 September 2026, VIP channel, replayed from the channel's own messages:

  • 85 signals posted, forex and gold; 172 messages scanned, the rest were updates and commentary
  • 79 resolved inside the window; 6 had touched neither a target nor the stop when it closed and are left out
  • 3 hit the stop before any target
  • 96% of resolved signals reached TP1
  • Average stop 174.8 pips across all 79 (gold stops are wide and pull the average up)

Those lines are the month. Everything else depends on what you did at TP1, and on where you traded.

Where the pips came from

Under the published method (highest target reached, full position) the month scored +9,493 pips. Gold was 21 of the 79 signals and 6,890 of those pips; the four forex pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD, NZD/USD) were 58 signals and 2,603 pips. London-session entries, 38 of them, made 5,939; New York entries, 41 of them, 3,554. Seventy-eight of the 79 were sells; the month had one direction and the desk traded it.

The same trades, six rules

"BE" means the stop moved to the entry price once that target is hit; a BE exit closes whatever part of the position is still open, and anything already taken at an earlier target stays in the result.

RuleNetBE exitsDeepest stretch

Copier Balanced: all TP2, BE at TP1+1,19345500
Copier TP3 set and forget: all TP3, no BE+5,2990727
70/20/10, no BE+2,3420500
All TP3, BE at TP1+1,67853500
All TP3, BE at TP2+3,736181,010

The pairs are the point. Same ladder, stop move on or off: +1,494 against +2,342. Same all-at-TP3 exit, stop moved at TP1, at TP2, or never: +1,678, +3,736, +5,299. On this month, every version of moving the stop to entry gave up a large share of the pips. The export records 45 breakeven exits of the remaining position under the default ladder (the 70% banked at TP1 stays in each result); it does not record what those trades did afterwards, so the gap is the measured cost of the rule, not a story about each trade. The take profit guide goes through what that means for choosing a rule.

Where the stops came from

Three stops in 79 is 4%, and it is a good month, not a rate to plan on; use the long history on the results page for that. Two of the three were EUR/USD and AUD/USD sells posted 67 seconds apart in the New York session on 2 September; both finished as full stops in the replay. The export carries the signal times, not the moment each stop was hit, so read that as two correlated signals posted close together that both failed, which is what stop clustering looks like on a desk trading correlated majors, and why the losing streak guide plans for stops arriving together rather than spread out.

At 1% of the starting balance per signal, three full stops is 3%. What the other 76 returned at the same sizing is a per-trade sum, signal by signal against its own stop distance, and the results page guide shows how to do it; the export below has the results but not each signal's stop distance, so that sum needs the results page rows as well.

What is not in these numbers

Spread and slippage: the replay fills at the signal's entry on the broker's candles, not at your fill, and on gold near news that gap is real. The six unresolved signals: they are neither wins nor losses in this table, and the drift on them at the window's close was +42 pips in total. Anything the desk did by hand: the replay applies one mechanical rule per column, and the VIP channel's live management updates are not in it.

Check it

The export behind this article is a record-level result file with preset summaries: for each of the 79 resolved signals its time, symbol, side and published-method result, plus every rule's totals and settings. It is published with the wrapper script that produced it, which runs inside our engine against our candle library; it shows the method, it is not a standalone tool anyone can rerun. Every signal is also on the results page with its entry, stop, targets and outcome. If your own account did something very different from these numbers on the same signals, the difference is in the entry, the exit rule or the sizing.

Next month's numbers will be different. The file will be here the same way.
