Jonny's FX Trader on Telegram: what we could and could not check

Jonny's FX Trader is third on TTMT's gold ranking. We could not confirm which Telegram handle is the channel's own: TTMT's page links none, and our searches turned up nothing we could tie to it. So this profile reports what TTMT's pages showed on 3 Nov 2026, says plainly what those figures cannot tell you, and lists the checks to run once you have the channel in front of you.

Short answer: we could not read Jonny's FX Trader's own posts, because we could not confirm its Telegram handle, and we do not guess handles. TTMT's page for the channel, telegramtometatrader.com/explore/jonnys-fx-trader, which measures trades TTMT's users copied, showed on 3 Nov 2026, with data updated that day, 1,195 closed trades, a win rate of 74.5%, a profit factor of 1.42 and 2 of 8 traders in profit over the last 90 days. None of the checks we run on a channel's own posts (stops, losses, pip convention, views, offers) could be made.

What we tried

  • TTMT's page for the channel links no Telegram handle and marks access as "not verified yet", as its pages for GTMO VIP and TFXC PREMIUM also did that day; the free public channels we looked up there each carried a link to their handle.
  • Web searches for the name, five in all on 3 Nov 2026, the last for an official website or profile, returned no Telegram link, website or social profile we could tie to the channel.
  • Two near matches turned up: a Telegram address under a similar name, which is a personal account rather than a channel, and a channel with a similar name whose posts did not mention Jonny's FX Trader. Nothing tied either to this channel, so we name neither.

Channels with names close to popular ones do exist, so a handle we cannot confirm is one we do not print.

What TTMT's library showed

TTMT (Telegram to MetaTrader) sells a Telegram copier, as we do, and publishes figures from trades its own users copied. We read its page for this channel, telegramtometatrader.com/explore/jonnys-fx-trader, and its gold ranking, telegramtometatrader.com/explore/rankings/gold, on 3 Nov 2026. Both showed data updated that day, with the same figures:

Win rate74.5%
Profit factor1.42

Subscribers31,194

The channel page also said the channel trades gold only, with an alert sent first and the entry, stop and targets following in later messages.

TTMT's library lists two more entries with Jonny in the name. Their pages, telegramtometatrader.com/explore/jonnys-trading-academy and telegramtometatrader.com/explore/jonnys-exclusive-trading-school, read on 3 Nov 2026 with data updated that day, showed: Jonny's Trading Academy, 816 closed trades, 26 users, win rate 66.4%, profit factor 0.95, 4 of 9 traders in profit; Jonny's Exclusive Trading School, 2,048 closed trades, 13 users, win rate 65.3%, profit factor 0.96, 0 of 7 in profit. They were fifth and sixth on the gold ranking. TTMT's pages do not say whether the three share an operator, and we do not know either.

What those figures can and cannot tell you

  • They count copies, not signals. Every trade is one placed on a TTMT user's account, at that user's lot size and settings, demo accounts included, and one signal copied to five accounts counts five times. So 1,195 trades is not 1,195 signals, and the channel's own signal count is not shown.
  • The samples are small where it matters. Twenty-five users connected the channel; 8 of them closed a trade in the last 90 days, and 2 of those 8 were in profit over that window. The win rate and profit factor cover every trade TTMT holds; the 2 of 8 covers only the last 90 days.
  • They start when TTMT's users arrived. Anything the channel posted before its first copied trade, or that no TTMT user copied, is outside the figures.
  • They are silent on the channel itself. Whether it posts its losses, how it counts a pip, what it charges and whether copies of it exist are not on TTMT's pages.

Our piece on how signal channel rankings work compares this kind of figure with subscriber rankings, "best of" lists and a provider's own record.

The checks to run once you have the channel

  1. Confirm the handle from the channel's own website or bio, not from a search result or a forwarded invite. Our guide to fake signal channels explains how copies are told apart.
  2. Read the public preview (t.me/s/ followed by the handle) without joining, and note whether each signal carries an entry, a stop and targets. If the levels arrive in separate messages, as TTMT describes, check that the stop is always among them.
  3. Work out the pip convention from a signal and its result post: dollars of price between entry and target, divided by the pips claimed. Our record counts ten cents of gold as a pip; some channels count one cent, which multiplies every figure by ten.
  4. Look for a stop hit in the last month of posts.
  5. Compare views with subscribers across ten posts of similar age, as one public number among several.
  6. Find the price on a page where it is printed, before any direct message.

Then forward every signal to your Saved Messages for two weeks and score them yourself, as our forex channels comparison sets out.

Measured the same way: the same checks, applied on one day to fourteen gold channels including ours, are in our gold channels comparison, and every closed Forexero VIP signal, stops included, is on our results page.
